Here’s my goals for May 2015:
I’ve been doing these Copywriting Teardowns lately and want them to be a weekly feature. Email me if you want your site torn down and featured to 15,000+ people (NevMed at gmail com)
It was quite a busy month, and got all of April 2015 goals done which feels good. Including a non-official goal to stay under a certain caloric limit. My poor living room mirror was the bearer of all the tracking:
In April I spoke at a Startup Socials conference in Ft. Lauderdale in Florida:
……then decided to stay for a few more days, so stayed at The W Hotel in South Beach miami which was AWESOME:
The next big thing was completing my April Coding Challenge where I wanted to finish an online Ruby On Rails course so I allowed people to join me. I also kept a Slack Chat Group going and a spreadsheet documenting progress like this:
Ended up creating a Heroku app that went live on the web called Nevtrest (a ghetto version of Pintrest we built in the class):
I would say I couldn’t possibly build my own web apps fluently after this class, but I DID learn several things like Git Hub and Heroku which is useful for being about to speak with programmers about.
Overall a good and productive April 2015.
Hope to keep up the progress in May 2015!
